Austria Nano cerium oxide
Category:
AustriaNano rare earth series
Product Description
Product Features:
Nano cerium oxide (chemical formula: CeO₂) is a light yellow or brownish-yellow auxiliary powder with a density of 7.13g/cm3, a melting point of 2397℃, insoluble in water and alkali, and slightly soluble in acid. Nano cerium oxide has good dispersibility and transparency, making it easy to add to polymers such as plastics and silicone rubber; it also has characteristics such as small grain size and large specific surface area, making it suitable for use as a UV blocker in cosmetics, as an anti-aging agent in plastics and coatings, and as a catalyst.

Application Industries:
1. Nano cerium oxide is widely used in the polishing process of optical instruments, mobile phone screens, and other precision devices due to its high hardness and good dispersibility. It can provide a uniform polishing effect while reducing damage to the polished surface.
2. Nano cerium oxide can be used as a catalyst or catalyst carrier to accelerate reactions and improve reaction efficiency. Its nano structure gives the catalyst a higher specific surface area and more activity.
3. Nano cerium oxide has a strong ability to absorb ultraviolet light, making it suitable as a UV absorber in coatings, plastics, and other materials to enhance the weather resistance of the materials.
4. In new batteries such as lithium-ion batteries, nano cerium oxide can be used as a positive electrode material or additive to improve the energy density and cycle stability of the batteries.
5. Nano cerium oxide can also be used in fields such as electronic ceramics, glass additives, and thermal stabilizers, showing a wide range of application prospects.
