On March 11, four senior experts from the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited Shijiazhuang Jinghuang Technology Co., Ltd. to conduct technical exchanges and provide guidance. The visit focused on core areas such as the preparation of strategic metals and new energy materials, as well as the research and development of new titanium‑zirconium materials, thereby establishing an important communication platform for both sides to deepen industry–university–research cooperation and promote the industrial application of technological achievements.

The visit focused on core areas such as the preparation of strategic metals and new energy materials, as well as the research and development of new titanium and zirconium materials, thereby establishing an important communication platform for both sides to deepen industry–university–research cooperation and promote the industrial application of technological achievements.
The Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, as a leading research institution in China’s resource and environmental sciences as well as green process engineering, has accumulated profound expertise in areas such as the efficient utilization of strategic metal resources, the high‑value transformation of metallurgical solid waste, and low‑carbon metallurgy technologies. It boasts numerous internationally advanced core technologies and industrialization achievements. The four visiting experts all come from the Strategic Metal Research Team at the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and have long been dedicated to cutting‑edge fields including the comprehensive utilization of vanadium–titanium magnetite, the resource recovery of titanium‑bearing slag, and low‑carbon metallurgy. Several of their technologies have already been successfully commercialized, yielding significant economic and environmental benefits.

During the exchange meeting, the technical team from Jinghuang Technology focused on presenting the company’s progress in developing titanium dioxide products—both rutile and anatase—and on outlining its needs for optimizing technical specifications. They also engaged in in-depth discussions with experts regarding the preparation process for nano‑zirconia used in radiative cooling films. In addition, both sides exchanged views on areas of mutual interest, such as the efficient utilization of strategic metal resources, the production of new energy materials, and energy storage technologies, while exploring the feasibility of diverse cooperation models—including joint project development, technology transfer and commercialization, and industrial investment.
This exchange not only provided new perspectives for Jinghuang Technology in the research and development of critical materials, but also laid the foundation for establishing a long‑term cooperation mechanism with the Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Taking this expert guidance as an opportunity, Jinghuang Technology will further refine its technological needs, deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research, accelerate the transformation of scientific and technological achievements into real productive forces, and contribute to the green, circular utilization of strategic metals in China as well as the high‑quality development of the new materials industry.
