    Metal tungsten is steel gray to white with a metallic luster, has a special crystal structure, a high density of 19.35g/cm³, a high melting point (about 3410℃ - 3415℃) and boiling point (about 5530℃ - 5930℃), a hardness of 7.5, good electrical and thermal conductivity, a small thermal expansion coefficient, and a relatively high elastic modulus. Its chemical properties are relatively stable at room temperature, and it can react with many non-metals, organic substances, and salts at high temperatures, with various valences, mostly +6 in nature. Based on these characteristics, tungsten is widely used in the manufacture of filaments, electrodes, and other electronic and electrical components. Due to its high hardness, it can be used to make tools and high-hardness parts, and it is also used in glass-metal seals. Its high-temperature stability also plays an important role in high-temperature industrial fields such as aerospace and metallurgy.
