    Chromium powder has a wide range of applications. In the metallurgical field, it can be used to manufacture tough quality steel, stainless steel, and acid-resistant alloys. In the electroplating industry, it can be used for chrome plating on metal surfaces for protection and decoration. In the chemical industry, it can serve as a catalyst for chemical synthesis. In the coatings industry, it can be used to manufacture light-resistant and heat-resistant coatings. In the glass and ceramics industry, it can be used as a coloring agent. In the leather industry, chromium sulfate and chromates can be used as tanning agents, and in fabric dyeing, it can be used as a mordant, soaking agent, and for producing various pigments. Additionally, it can be used to make refractory materials, abrasives, and as additives for powder metallurgy, diamond tools, electrical alloys, welding materials, and aluminum alloys.
